Financial Officers Basic Training
This 3-day course, hosted by AFGE, provides new financial officers with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively manage local union finances. Participants will learn the fundamentals of budgeting, record keeping, DOL and IRS reporting requirements, and AFGE financial policies and procedures. The training emphasizes compliance, transparency, and accountability in financial operations.
