 The training will be held in the 3rd Floor training room.  You MUST BRING A VALID GOVERNMENT ISSUED PICTURE ID to gain access to the building.  If you are staying at The Yotel, it is located about two blocks from the National Office on New Jersey Avenue NW.  The building is accessible by Amtrak and the Washington Metro's Red Line at Union Station - about 3 blocks away.  There are several parking garages within a few blocks as well as street parking.  Please note that the ParkMobile app is needed to pay for street parking.  

Financial Officers Basic Training
This 3-day IN-PERSON course, hosted by AFGE, provides new financial officers with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively manage local union finances. Participants will learn the fundamentals of budgeting, record keeping, DOL and IRS reporting requirements, and AFGE financial policies and procedures. The training emphasizes compliance, transparency, and accountability in financial operations.
